TRUST & LEGAL · GOVERNANCE GUIDE

How Governance Guide supports your AI governance work.

Governance Guide helps consultants and governance leads summarise risk information, identify what is missing, prepare client-ready reports, and explain governance concerns in plain English. It works alongside your judgment — it does not replace it.

What Governance Guide does.

Governance Guide is embedded across the platform. Here is how it supports the work.

Summarises risk assessments

Takes structured risk inputs and turns them into plain-English summaries that a board member or senior stakeholder can read and act on — without needing a technical background.

Identifies what is missing

Flags gaps in governance records — missing vendor evidence, unclear data handling descriptions, incomplete action assignments, or fields that will weaken a report before it reaches the client.

Supports report preparation

Helps draft executive summaries, key findings, recommended actions, and next-step prompts — structured for the consultant to review, refine, and deliver under their own professional judgment.

Prepares governance conversations

Helps create structured agendas for governance meetings, targeted questions for vendor evaluations, and prompts for quarterly review conversations — so the consultant walks into every meeting prepared.

Translates risk into plain English

Converts technical risk scores and governance findings into language that leadership teams, procurement leads, and board members can understand — and make decisions from.

What Governance Guide does not do.

Being clear about the limits of AI support is part of what responsible governance looks like. These are firm boundaries — not caveats.

  • It does not provide legal advice.
  • It does not provide regulatory certification or compliance guarantees.
  • It does not replace a Data Protection Officer.
  • It does not replace qualified legal, privacy, security, or compliance professionals.
  • It does not make final governance decisions on behalf of your organisation.
  • It does not remove the need for human review before any output is used.
  • It does not guarantee the accuracy of outputs if the information provided is incomplete or incorrect.

The practitioner stays responsible. That is by design.

Governance Guide is a delivery support tool. The delivering consultant, the organisation's governance lead, and any relevant professional reviewers remain responsible for checking, validating, and approving all outputs before using or sharing them.

This is not a limitation of the platform. It is a core principle. AI governance work requires human judgment — and a platform that pretends otherwise is itself a governance risk.

What you might ask Governance Guide to do.

"Summarise this risk assessment for a board audience — they do not have a technical background."
"What information is missing from this vendor evaluation before it is client-ready?"
"Draft a plain-English explanation of why this AI system is flagged as high risk."
"Prepare a structured agenda for our quarterly AI governance review with this client."
"What should the next action be for this workspace, and who should own it?"

Governance Guide provides operational guidance only. It does not provide legal advice, regulatory certification, or compliance guarantees. All outputs should be reviewed by the delivering consultant and, where required, by qualified legal, privacy, security, or compliance professionals before being used or shared.
